Ross Allen

President

Ross Allen is a third generation farmer raised in the San Joaquin Valley. Introduced to wine at a young age, he quickly learned to appreciate a great glass of wine and what is involved to produce it. Today, Ross is owner of 2 Hawk Vineyard, alongside wife Jen, who also own a successful 1,400-acre almond and pistachio farm in Coalinga. With 30 years of commercial agricultural business experience, Ross enjoys focusing on premium fruit production and bringing innovative farming techniques to the vineyard.

Ashley Cates

Vice President

Ashley Cates is a Sonoma valley native and moved to Oregon in 2002 to plant and launch her family winery, Agate Ridge Vineyard. After graduating from University of Oregon in 2010, she and her husband worked in the wine industry in Spain, New Zealand and Oregon.  Ashley was pinned with the Guild of Sommeliers in 2016 and received a Certificate of Commission as an Oregon Tourism Professional from the American Hotel & Lodging Association in 2018.  Ashley feels immense pride and passion for the Rogue Valley and currently serves as the Creative Director for Travel Medford.

Chad Day

Treasurer

Chad, a fourth generation Southern Oregonian, moved his young family back to Medford for harvest of 2012 in order to take over management of RoxyAnn from his father. Chad’s background in Construction Management and his MBA from Seattle University give him a unique perspective to the winery industry.

Dionne Irvine

Board Member

After two decades in real estate development, Dionne and husband Doug were excited to embark on an entirely new business venture with Irvine & Roberts Vineyards. As the general manager, Dionne’s goal is to communicate the unique character manifested by their vineyard site, which holds special meaning to Dionne not only as an exceptional location to grow Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, but also as the place where they raised their three daughters and hold countless cherished memories.

Joe Ginet

Board Member

Joe Ginet with wife Suzi are the owners of Plaisance Ranch. Joe grew up locally attending Applegate School and Grants Pass High school. He was a 1974 graduate of UC Davis, and purchased Plaisance Ranch in 1979. Established Plaisance Viticulture in 1998 and was one of the World of Wine founders in 2002.

Craig Camp

Board Member

Craig Camp is general manager of Troon Vineyards. He came to the Applegate Valley to work in a region on the cutting edge of fine winemaking and is passionate about biodynamic winegrowing and winemaking in Oregon. He has more than three decades of experience in every facet of the wine industry from importing/exporting to viticulture. His career spans Italy, Napa Valley, Willamette Valley and currently, the Applegate Valley. Craig is revered for his use of online marketing and social media.

Darius Price

Board Member

Darius helped build sales for Owen Roe before deciding to move back to Southern Oregon with his young family. He has a passion for alcoholic beverages of all types, constantly seeking to taste, describe and understand
the wide world of wine and spirits. In his free time he enjoys trying other wines, beers, and especially whiskey.

Brian Gruber

Board Member

Brian Gruber began working with Quady North in 2009 and co-founded Barrel 42 Custom Winecraft with Herb Quady in 2014. Prior to Barrel 42, Brian spent five years at Troon Vineyard, filling numerous roles including vineyard management, winemaking, production, and general management. Brian came to Troon from Capital One, where he had an 11-year career as an executive in the Human Resources, Finance and Information Technology fields. Brian also spent five years in the wine industry in Virginia, creating and managing Walnut Grove Vineyards.

Laura Naumes

Board Member

Laura Naumes, chief operating officer, is also vice president of parent company Naumes, Inc. She leads an experienced management team at Naumes Crush, serves on several ag industry-related boards, and is a member of the Oregon State University Board of Trustees. A past member of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco Advisory Council, Naumes is on the boards of the Rogue Valley Family YMCA and Asante Foundation.

Eric Weisinger

Board Member

Eric Weisinger grew up in the Rogue Valley wine business. From helping to plant the first vines on the property in 1978 to taking over winemaking from his father John in 1998, Eric has had a hand in everything here at the winery. Wanting to expand his experience and winemaking perspective, from 2007 to 2015 Eric split his time between Oregon and the Marlborough region of New Zealand, where his winemaking focus was on Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Today, Eric lives year round in Oregon and is the Weisinger Family Winery General Manager and Winemaker.

Debbie Shultz

Board Member

Debbie and her husband Greg founded Schultz Wines in 2010, and Glory Oaks Vineyard in 2014. They co-manage their farming and tasting room operations. Debbie is an Oklahoma native and a graduate of the University of Oklahoma. Her professional background is in mortgage underwriting and she’s a certified Master Gardener. She’s had a life-long interest in botany and enjoys the vineyard management piece of the wine business. Her hobbies include running, hiking, traveling, and of course, wine.

Dan Marca

Board Member

Dan Marca along with his wife, Cindy, began researching wine and viticulture at UC Davis in 1996, and twelve years later together founded DANCIN Vineyards and Winery. Born in New York City and raised just across the Hudson in New Jersey, Dan landed his first job in food and hospitality at a very young age. After a detour in the construction business, Dan is thankful to be back extending heartfelt hospitality to guests at DANCIN.

Katharine Cato

Board Member

Katharine grew up in New Hampshire with a love for the outdoors. After earning her Bachelor’s degree at the University of NH, she moved to Oregon to ski the Pacific Northwest.  Her professional path has included sales, marketing, consulting and media relations with over 20 years in the tourism industry.  She has been with the Ashland Chamber of Commerce for 14 years, serving as the Director of Travel Ashland, the tourism branch of the organization. With tourism being a key economic driver to Ashland’s economy, she has a true passion for promoting the spectrum of year-round offerings in Ashland and Southern Oregon. She lives in Ashland with her husband, Ray and their daughter, Grace.

Andrea Reeder

Board Member

Andrea Reeder is an experienced philanthropy professional with nearly two decades of practice in the non-profit industry. She joined Asante in 2013 as a Director of Development with Asante Foundation, where successfully led the region’s largest capital campaign, Asante Forward, generating  . In March 2022, Andrea was promoted to the Asante executive team as Vice President and Executive Director, now leading the health system’s philanthropic efforts with the community.
